High school flew by so fast. And I am so happy I was able to share the most of it with you guys. Through friendships, opportunities, and memories so much were learned and so much that I would like to do over again but wouldn’t because it shaped me. Very cliche but very true
- People’s thoughts don’t matter
This is a repetitive saying. But even though everyone knows this we do it anyway. So here I am to remind you again that people’s thoughts don’t matter!!! Who cares if someone thinks your annoying? Your just not their cup of tea and 9 times out of 10 there’s nothing to do about how they feel about you. And if no harm was done that’s their loss.
2.Treat People With Kindness
In four short years so much has happened in high school. I’ve witnessed the outcome of two deaths, someone getting run over, and even someone going to jail. Seriously life is too short to hold grudges with peers just because they bumped into you in the hallway or gave attitude.
3. Don’t act too cool
This is something that was seen a little too much. Acting like everyone annoys you or ditching school does not make you cool. Everyone can notice a try hard the second their mouth is open.
4. Make memories and don’t stay in the past
This kind of ties in with the whole treat people with kindness thing. Whatever problem that happens in school trust me it will be old news literally in a week. There’s time and their high school time. High school time passes by way faster. It’s crazy. And overall just take LOTS of pictures especially if you’re a blogger.
5. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and try your hardest
This goes with education because the teachers and administration are there to help and they are more than happy to. It’s kind of their job
Seriously join a sport or club forces you to be involved in school. And trust me it’s so easy to get out of shape after taking the mandatory years of PE. It’s also so easy to have friends when being apart of a team like that.
7. Don’t be afraid to be yourself/do what you want
there will be times when situations like bullying/ being the only one doing something will come to play. And honesty I say just do what you want and what is right for you instead of following other people
8. Actually try to dress up
Even though it would be nice to leave the house in sweatpants and a t-shirt, the whole saying of when you look good you feel good is so true. And plus spending those extra 30 minutes in the bathroom can be the small me time to have in the day.
GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE. DO STUPID TEENAGE STUFF (except for anything that can hurt you or others/ legal trouble
10. Relationships aren’t the end all
This stands for high school relationships and friend relationships. If someone decides they don’t want to be your friend over a stupid rumor drop them. Definitely not worth the time and energy. As for boys/girls in relationships take a moment to be the outsider looking in for a second and never let them get in the way of school work. Because if they were really worth your time they would try to do anything to not cause conflict/ show that they are serious about you.
